Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the inglivo app, developed by Diego Contreras Garcia (Dominican Republic). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies when you download the app from the App Store.

1. The service

inglivo is an app for learning American English through listening, speaking, pronunciation and grammar exercises, level exams (A1 to C2) and AI virtual tutors.

2. Account and age

You must be at least 13 years old to use inglivo. You are responsible for your account information and for activity on your account.

3. 24-hour free trial

Every new account gets 24 hours of free access to all features from sign-up, including 20 minutes a day of AI conversation. After that, a subscription is required to keep practicing.

5. Payment and auto-renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.

6. Changing or canceling

You can change plans or cancel at any time from the app (Profile → Subscription) or from your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period and are not charged again.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. You can request them at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play.

8. AI-generated content

Replies, corrections and explanations from the virtual tutors are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Use them as learning support. Daily AI minutes do not roll over.

9. Certificates

inglivo level certificates are internal and reflect your result on our exams. They are not official CEFR qualifications and do not replace an official certification.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the app for illegal purposes, harass others, attempt unauthorized access to systems, copy the app's content or use automated programs to consume the AI services.

11. Intellectual property

The lessons, audio, text, design, logos and other content of inglivo belong to us or are licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app.

12. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

13. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without prejudice to any consumer rights granted by the law of your country.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
